Browser Statistics Sep/Oct 2008

The browser statistics from the last 4 weeks show a growing use of Firefox, the majority of visitors on this website are using the alternative to 2nd place Internet Explorer. However, 76% of all Internet Explorer users have upgraded to IE7 or IE8. Firefox users are equally up-to-date with 86% running any 3.x version.

Altogether, more than 2/3 are using an alternative browser. It’s likely though, that vistors interested in software security (like my software) are more sensitive towards the issue and are especially fond of Firefox.
